It was the subject of interest and testing by the world's leading BMW E12 specialist, Ulrich Thieme, who has flown to Portugal on purpose to check it out and photograph it in detail for his website «www.e12.de».
It underwent a total restoration about 16 years ago and is regularly maintained without regard to cost.
