The interiors are rigorously impeccable, the paintwork is original and in excellent condition and the mechanics are very well taken care of, without any looseness or parasitic noise.
This 320i «two-door sedan» is equipped with a fantastic M20 in-line 6-cylinder engine with 1,991cc and 125hp, very well known for its robustness and smooth operation.
As factory extras, this E30 has air conditioning, electric windows, sunroof, central locking and power steering.
It has all the books and owners manuals, duplicate keys, etc.
Certified as a vehicle of historic interest by the ACP.
The BMW E30, or 3 Series, project was led by Claus Luthe in 1978, who had been responsible for the NSU Ro80, and the design was handled by Boyke Boyer.
It entered production in November 1982 and, although it did not differ much from the image of its predecessor E21, the E30 had a more modern design (already resorting to the use of CAD - computer-aided design) and at a technical level it presented significant improvements, namely with regard to the suspension that was aimed at reducing the oversteer problem that was highly criticized on the E21. During its development, several crash tests and aerodynamic tests in a wind tunnel were also carried out.
This second generation of the 3 Series also featured a new four-door saloon version, and later, in 1991, the «Touring» (station wagon) version.
